Meeting with “Il Divo”

On June 26th 2022, the musical group “Il Divo” gave us a wonderful concert in Madrid, an event that was dedicated to Carlos Marín, who sadly died at the end of 2021.

I have been a fan of «Il Divo» since 2006 and especially of Carlos Marín, so I will mourn his loss. Despite their loss, I didn’t want to miss their concert and went accompanied by the pen portraits I drew for them years ago – they were a bit younger but still holding up great!

“Il Divo” gave me this very special moment for a fan of a musical group, and allowed me to deliver in person the pen portrait I made. I keep the portrait of Carlos Marín, since I would like to give it to his family as a posthumous tribute.

Thank you “Il Divo”, and see you always Carlos Marín. You will always be in our memory.
