Some ideas arrive quietly.
Mine started with a simple thought:
What if a sticker could feel like a tiny object instead of just a flat print?
I’ve always loved details with texture — things you can hold, tilt under the light, and discover slowly. I wanted to create something small that still carried the feeling of an artwork. Something between a painting, a charm, and a memory.
That’s how my wax seal stickers began. I started working with wax and I was fascinated by the way it captured light and created depth, almost like glass, but softer and more magical.
I printed fragments of my original paintings and sealed them under crystal clear wax. Suddenly, the tiny images felt alive.
To make them even more special, I coloured the wax with golden alcohol ink. The gold softly surrounds the artwork and creates a glowing frame effect around the printed image.
The shape itself comes from vintage metal sealing stamps shaped like ornamental frames. Instead of covering the artwork completely, the frame remains visible around the image, almost like a miniature antique painting protected under glass.
I loved the contrast between the old-world feeling of wax seals and the contemporary details from my paintings. It felt like mixing nostalgia with tiny pieces of modern storytelling.
These stickers are not just decorations to me.
They are miniature artworks.
Each one carries fragments of my paintings, my love for gold details, texture, symbolism, and the feeling of discovering a forgotten treasure inside an old drawer or a hidden letter.
Sometimes people ask me how the wax stays transparent.
The answer is simple: there are different types of wax, and I use a special crystal-clear wax that allows the artwork underneath to remain visible while still creating that dimensional glossy effect.
For me, the process feels a little like preserving tiny worlds.
A small painting.
A touch of gold.
A vintage frame.
A transparent layer of wax.
And suddenly, it becomes something you can hold onto.
That’s the magic I wanted to create.
